release the most recent MGS4 demo next week. Microsoft is releasing the Ninja Gaiden 2 demo so I think it's only fair...
Suikoden 1 was just rated by the ESRB so it should be coming soon! Can't wait to play it on my PSP!

In that early high scores by "trend-setter" publications/websites like IGN (10.0) dictated that no criticism of GTA4 should be taken seriously despite the fact that the game is flawed in some ways.
IMO, I really like GTA4 - however, I don't see it in the realm of games in the 10 range. My biggest gripe is how come nobody criticized the script and voice acting?! I believe some publications actually went so far as to say the voice acting was great (are you F'in kiddin...
My expectations will be ridiculously high going into this game which is a setup for potential disappointment (at least in some respects).
Happened with GTA4 and countless other games.

One of the best PS RPGs ever and arguably the best of the series (along with 2) for people that actually played each Suikoden WHEN THEY LAUNCHED .

KZ2 looks ridiculous. I can't wait for it.
To best honest, I didn't think KZ1 was that bad (maybe because I went into it with low expectations). It definetely showed promise and multiplayer was decent.
Famitsu is more in tune with JRPGs and quirky Japanese games (Katamari, Patapon, etc...). I trust them more for those scores than I do western shooters.
just because the demo wasn't all that great (wasn't bad, just not that great). Tell me what Famitsu gave Call of Duty 4 and I'll judge from there.

I think it's similar to Elder Scrolls vets bashing Oblivion (ES4) in comparison to the older games. I on the other hand loved it because it was fresh and original in my mind (first ES I ever played).
it's "by far" the best ever made. For me, FFIV, FFVI and FF Tactics are the 3 best followed by FF Mystic Quest (don't ask me why, but it just had its charm) and FFV. After that the rest ranged from good to very good IMO.
I love FFIV - what a great game! Bubble for that definetely.
However, I have to let you know that a lot of RPG vets/older gamers were disappointed with FF7. Me personally, I liked it - thought it was very good, not great. But, I started playing turn-based RPGs with Dragon Warrior back in the day.
defensive A.I. including the horrible pursuit angles defensive players take. There are also speed issues in the game which inherently favor fast offensive players that compound this problem.
Really, Madden has become a JOKE ever since it went NEXT-GEN. It has improved with each consecutive installment, but it still can't touch the PS2/XBOX versions.
